A page under construction but new items are on the way!
I'm just getting started at this and a old lady can be slow! I especially need to catch my breath after a intense three weeks of website creation. I will be starting a Put a Pause in Menopause blog once I get this up and going but until then, I'll blog here!
In case your wondering, all photos in my website have been taken on our travels. All except the one on this page. This picture my wonderful brother took on a incredible fall day in Providence, R.I. He's pretty accomplished in his own right as he and his wife are coming out with a book soon for building your own brick oven. He's an old world bread baker and is a professor at Johnson & Wales Culinary University. I'll be advertising his book once it published. I'm so proud of him!
Speaking of traveling, I mentioned earlier that we have a sail boat. Currently it is in Fiji. It's taken us ten slow years to get there. We left California 2002 & have slowly made our way down the coast of Mexico, Central America, South America, Galapagos, across the Pacific Ocean, visiting tons of South Pacific Islands to Fiji. If your really into travel blogs and pictures you can visit my website at http://http://www.sailblogs.com/member/mokisha/
I often don't update during Hurricane season as we aren't even on the boat then. We often come back to the U.S. during that time.....which is now.
This year is a bit different though as we are taking a year off and staying home. We will be going to Fiji in June however to do a few boat projects and put the boat in the water. So why am I telling you all this? If you don't hear from me in a timely manner in June-Aug timeframe, I just can't get online and respond....so be patient!
In the meantime, it's quite interesting learning how to build a website. I knew exactly zero about websites! Know I know just a little bit more. After some research I ended up going with Godaddy.com. I'm really glad I did as their customer service is fantastic and they respond quickly. I also went with the Website Tonight feature for building my website. It was surprisingly easier than what I expected. Don't get me wrong, I was frustrated several times but they helped me with the issues or I found the solution under the 'help' section. For an old lady, I don't think I've done to bad. So, if your thinking of building a website, I can certainly highly recommend Godaddy.com.
So just click on any of the ads you see on my website and it will take you right there.
